My holiday in Limerick - Ireland

As you can see I was in Limerick, Ireland, for 2 weeks.

Have you ever been to Ireland? This was my first time in Ireland! and I loved it!

The weather here is mostly rainy... even in summer... but sometimes there was some sunshine.

As you can see in the picture, Limerick is by the river Shannon. This beautiful picture shows the castle of Limerick by the river, as well as St Mary's church.

Do you know the religion in Ireland? Ireland is a Catholic country and the Pope is the head of the church. However, Britain is a Protestant country and the Queen is the head of this religion.

What else... beutiful green Ireland. I love the countryside here! The scenery and green valleys have a lot of cows, black-headed sheep and black crows

I really find peace in this place.

Also, the people are really nice and kind.

Did you know they have 2 official languages?

1) English

2) Irish

Irish is a very different language to English. It is a Gaelic language that the Celts brought to the island.
